Statistical methodology and its applications, whose main research lines include the development of appropriate statistical methods to shape and control the uncertainty sources in complex phenomena, and the analysis of the real problems in different application topics. From the methodological point of view, in this area research mainly concerns the samples theory, time series analysis, structural equation models, nonparametric statistics for functional parameters, statistics for functional data, spatial statistics and space-temporal modeling.
